One Pole. An Entire Smart City Node.
A light pole occupies the most valuable real estate in any city: elevated, evenly spaced, and everywhere. The Ramo Power Smart Pole puts that position to work. Built around a solar-powered vertical pole, it transforms a humble street light into multifunctional smart city furniture, carrying IP cameras, surveillance cameras, Wi-Fi hotspots, loudspeakers, traffic signs, wind meters and environmental sensors, backlit info boxes, mobile phone charging stations, and remote-controlled LED lighting, all powered entirely by the sun. Every module added is a service delivered without a single metre of trenching.
Surveillance Without the Civil Works
The smart solar camera pole brings traffic surveillance to places the grid makes expensive. Fully solar powered with a slim profile, integrated power tubes, and optional backlighting, it delivers paramount aesthetics with low wind load, and installs quickly beside roads without costly trenching. Data transmission runs over a wireless radio link, so a camera point that would normally take weeks of civil works and cabling is live in a day, monitoring junctions, corridors, and remote stretches where fixed infrastructure was never viable.
From Bus Stops to Boulevards
The platform extends across the urban landscape. As smart solar urban furniture, the pole serves public transport infrastructure: lighting, traffic information, and a Wi-Fi hotspot at the bus stop, becoming contemporary street furniture when combined with seating. Connectivity adapts to the site, with 4G/5G mobile coverage, radio link, or glass fibre. In deployed projects, the smart needle pole variant integrates lighting, camera, and loudspeakers within the pole body for surveillance and public announcements over a glass fibre connection. Streets, building compounds, parks, walkways, and meeting points: one solar platform, configured to what each location needs.
